On the outskirts of the village of Maizières, in a park of almost one hectare through which the River Laizon flows, the Bastide du Laizon & Spa opens onto an almost 300-year-old gateway, salvaged from a former Versailles mansion dating from 1750, and stands out for its extraordinary dimensions.
Its stone façade bears witness to the architectural codes of the 11th century at the time of William the Conqueror. The town of Maizières was renowned for its stone, known as "mace"
